There will be no danger to Will Robinson or anyone from the cast of the original television series LOST IN SPACE when they come to NASA Glenn Research Center on Friday, April 6 from 10:30 11:30 a.m. for a tour and visit with employees. Cast members will be in town to appear at "FrightVision 2001." Their trip to Glenn will give them new insight on how the science fiction they portrayed in the show is turning into reality.
Media representatives are invited to join the cast at 10:30 a.m. when they begin their tour of the Electric Power Laboratory, featuring two very large space-environment simulation chambers. While at the facility, our guests will learn about the challenges of interstellar travel, existing propulsion ideas and the possibilities emerging from science fiction that may one day provide the desired propulsion breakthroughs.
At 11 a.m., the cast will head over to Glenn's Visitor Center to greet and talk with employees.
